Dearborn Country Club - "The Jewel Of Southern Indiana"
In 1926, a group of businessmen from Lawrenceburg and Aurora, Indiana conceived the idea of a country club. They purchased the historic Wymond Estate overlooking the Wilson Creek Valley and established the historic old home as the centerpiece of the country club. On February 3, 2003, fire destroyed the old mansion. Now standing on the site of the original clubhouse is a 25,000 square foot state of the art facility. Today, Dearborn Country Club is often referred to as "The Jewel of Southern Indiana". A majestic new 25,000 square foot facility crowns the scenic property which features an 18 hole golf course. Dearborn Country Club's daily food and beverage offerings are unequaled. Its proximity to Greater Cincinnati Airport, Hollywood Casino, Perfect North Slopes skiing, riverboat cruises and hotels makes DCC the ideal destination for weddings, meetings, retreats and golf outings. In 2010, Receptions Inc.,the largest independent banquet operation in the tri state began hosting all meetings, banquets and weddings at the country club. Their success was immediate and led to a transformative change in all aspects of the club's operations.
